This April 10,2010 in Cebu, you'll finally learn how to:
Correctly start an internet business that matters to you and is not "just a money maker for the sake of making money".Strangely, starting an internet marketing - home based - business is not "ok, go and create many blogs", it's more than that. Find out in the workshop the answer.
Go past the hype and tall promises of many online marketers and actually know how it all works - from a clear overview of someone who's actually done it and is Pinoy, too!
Overcome your fear of starting something new - like blogging or selling online.

Make procrastination your friend (yes, you read that right) by knowing the actual message it's telling you plus know how to act on that message-perhaps for the first time.

Major Languages should be the National Languages of the Philippines

Upon reading and of course studying the constitution of the Philippines, I read the provisions about having a National Language. The intention is good. However, I can say that it is not applicable in the Philippines considering of the our population with a very diverse cultures and identities.

From the start, during my elementary years, we familiarize the major languages of the Philippines basing of the number of speakers, to name, Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilokano, Hiligaynon, Bicolano, Waray, Kapangpangan, Pangasinense, and Maguinadanao. As young as I am, I question the validity of Tagalog to be the basis for National Language. Damn for it!

Even in the ratification of the1987 Constitution, Many Linguistics are questioning of why Tagalog/Filipino should be the National Language. Consider that by 1976, Cebuano speakers surpassed Tagalog speakers…

There is a research in which tagged Tagalog jeopardizing the people of this country. I guess the principle behind would be simple: A citizen of this country can’t be an actor or actress if he/she doesn’t know Tagalog. meaning, you lost your dream to be a superstar even if you have the qualities.

I urge our lawmakers to correct this failure. It maybe done by any means, even if it is going to be the changing of this this constitution!

As a concerned one, I reiterate the proposal to make

1. Cebuano

2. Tagalog

3. Ilokano

4. Hiligaynon

5. Bicolano

6. Waray

7. Kapangpangan

8. Pangasinense

9. Maguinadanao

10. English

By declaring the above-mentioned languages as official languages of the Philippines, then, researches, developments, integration, and the spirit of unity will come in most especially in Mindanao. But, failure to do so, it is the time to leave this Republic. This republic will be broken into pieces of new states…

I need to know: a system with two HDD, one with operating system and the other with my documents.
Suppose that while connected to the internet a virus is downloaded to the second hdd (i.e. the one with my docs) would it infect the other hard drive(i.e. the one with OS)
I know that the anti virus should prevent this from happening but one never knows.
Thanks guys..

I have sitting in my living two brand new laptops, one made by ACER and the other made by Gateway (same parent company)with almost identical specs. I plan on keeping one and returning the other.

The primary difference as far as audio recording/editing is concerned is that they have different RAM/CPU configurations.

Laptop #1 (ACER) has an Intel Core i3-330M Processor (2.13GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 Cache with Hyper-Threading Technology). It comes with 4GB of RAM DDR3 1066MHz, upgradable to 8GB.

Laptop #2 (Gateway) has an Intel Core i5-430M Processor (2.26GHz with Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.53GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 Cache). It also has 4GB of RAM DDR3 1066MHz, BUT 4GB is the max RAM it can hold.

So which do you guys think is better for a DAW? My primary concern is longevity. Obviously Laptop #2 is better out of the box. But I'd like this laptop to last me awhile, and in a couple years I like knowing that I can upgrade the RAM on Laptop #1 to 8GB if necessary. I did that on my desktop after a few years and it was almost like getting a new computer for $75.

Am I being dumb? Is 4GB of DDR3 more than enough? Should I keep the one with the better Core i5 processor?

Any and all comments appreciated.

Wouldn't ya just know it? I disappear from here - having nothing to contribute - and then I'm back with not only a nagging problem that Shirley had but now one of my own!

In brief: I loaned the PC mentioned in the title to some dear friends some many months ago. They used it without problem. A few weeks ago, they had a rash of serious health problems in the family and the PC sat idle (off) for that extended period. I don't suspect that they did anything untoward in shutting it down. Health problems resolved, they purchased their own PC. Retrieved mine with visions of being able to dedicate it solely to music and use my newer one for everything else. How's THAT for luxury - TWO PC's!

Screwed everything together. Pushed the button on the front panel - NOTHING! There's no doubt an LED behind the button which gives a visual indication that power is applied to the machine. It BLINKS yellow. Nothing else happens. On my newer machine - also a Dell - the LED indicator is GREEN and remains on continuously. Is this of significance?

Facetiously I ask - is this terminal "sleep mode" or is there a simple fix that I've not run into before?

Now - I ask you folks in the white hats to not embarass me too greatly. :$

Respectfully,
